The tunes: Recorded March 2016 on a handheld Tascam D-40 "Blue Skies," written in 1926 by Irving Berlin for the Rodgers and Hart musical "Betsy," was an instant hit and featured in one of the first talking movies by Al Jolson. "Chega De Saudade (No More Blues)" one of the first bossa nova songs, was written circa 1958 by Antonio Carlos Jobim. It has been recorded by Yo Yo Ma, Stan Getz, and many jazz artists. The Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone voted it the sixth most popular Brazilian song. "Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most" was written by Fran Landsman & Tommy Wolf in 1959 for the play "The Nervous Set." The play, too avant-garde for Broadway, closed after four days but two great tunes emerged from the play, one of which is 'Spring' along with "Ballad Of The Sad Young Men." Both were quickly picked up by jazz musicians. "I Fall In Love Too Easily" is a 1944 song composed by Jule Styne with lyrics by Sammy Kahn. It was introduced by Frank Sinatra in the 1945 film "Anchors Aweigh" and since recorded by numerous jazz musicians.
