In addition to being a neurological disease whose symptons involve involuntary twitching and gyrations, it is also a 1959 tune by the great pianist Horace Silver, a hard bop pioneer. The tune helps acentuate Silver's melodic ingenuity while altering the rhythmic tone of the song. Last week the quartet decided to give it a shot.
