My Romance" was written by Rodgers & Hart for the 1935 musical "Jumbo" and Doris Day sang it in the 1962 movie of the same name. It's also been recorded by the Dave Brubeck Quartet, Bill Evans Trio, Roberta Flack, Ella Fitzgerald, and a host of other crooners.

My romance doesn't have to have a moon in the sky

No month of May, no twinkling stars
No hide away, no softly guitars…

Romance does not need a bunch'a stuff. It can stand on its own as this song has for eighty-four years.
